Education
Every child deserves to learn, even in a crisis
Education is one of the first casualties of conflict and displacement. HopeAid fights to keep children learning -- establishing temporary learning spaces, training teachers, distributing learning materials, and running catch-up programs for children who have missed years of school. We believe education is not a luxury in a crisis -- it is a lifeline.
Our Education Work
Safe Learning Spaces
HopeAid establishes temporary and permanent learning spaces in displacement camps, conflict zones, and underserved communities -- providing safe, structured environments where children can learn and heal.
Teacher Training
We recruit and train teachers from displaced communities -- creating employment for educators while ensuring children receive quality instruction from people who understand their experience.
Accelerated Education
For children who have missed years of school, HopeAid's accelerated education programs provide intensive catch-up curricula, allowing older children to reintegrate into the education system.
